Nutrition Information–

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 tablespoons unsweetened regular or dark baking cocoa

1 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups vegetable oil

1 cup buttermilk 2 eggs

1 bottle (1 oz) black food color

1 teaspoon white vinegar

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 containers (12 oz each) cream cheese whipped ready-to-spread frosting

Black string licorice, if desired

Black jelly beans, if desired

STEP 1: Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Grease 3 (8- or 9-inch) round cake pans with shortening; lightly flour.

STEP 2: In large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. In another large bowl, beat oil, buttermilk, eggs, food color, vinegar and vanilla with electric mixer on low speed just until blended. Gradually add flour mixture; beat 2 minutes on medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into pans.

STEP 3: Bake 23 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

STEP 4: Brush off all loose crumbs from cake layers. Place 1 cake layer, rounded side down, on serving plate; spread with 1 cup frosting. Top with second cake layer, rounded side up. Spread with 1 cup frosting. Top with third cake layer. Spread very thin layer of frosting on side to seal in crumbs. Spread remaining frosting on side and top of cake. Cut licorice into pieces. Pile licorice on top of cake. Decorate bottom edge of cake with jelly beans.

Expert Tips

Omit the licorice- flavored garnishes for this layer cake, and use brown candy-coated chocolate candies.

and started lookin at the comments.....and comments were slamming her really hard....calling her a traitor to malaysia and supporting a 'corrupt political party'...also one comment said 'racist' party

i briefly looked into it....but im too unfamiliar with malaysian politics to understand it (but thats beside the point)

do YOU think celebrities (actors/artists) should stay mum on their political views? or be free and open about it if they choose to be outspoken?

i see it as a double edge sword......their star power can boost the momentum of a political movement/agenda/person or bring an issue to the forefront for a 'local/national discussion'

but at the same time....if they have by 'majority society's standards' have the 'wrong' political stance.....it can really hurt their image, social media backlash, create boycotts, protests and worst case scenario....lose potential sponsors or job offers? #PRNightmare

ive always said/thought.....if somehow i got famous.....i would prolly never speak my opinion in public on politics, race and women....cause i kno id be creating my own backlash with this super sensitive country

Pat RobertsonUgh. When a viewer of the CBN show "The 700 Club" asks for advice about how to forgive and move past her husband's infidelity, Pat Robertson advises her to understand that men tend to wander, and to focus on what's really important: her husband's ability to buy her clothes.

Robertson tells the woman to stop worrying about the cheating, and to remember what's really at stake: "Does he provide a home for you? Does he provide food for you to eat? Does he provide clothes for you to wear?"

Because that's totes all any woman should expect out of a marriage, right? And if a man brings home a paycheck, we should keep our mouths shut and be grateful.

"Like it or not, males have a tendency to wander a little bit," the Rev. Robertson advises. "What you want to do is make your home so wonderful, that he doesn't want to wander."

Because obviously it's all your fault, lady.

"Think of the temptations that are out there," he continues. "The Internet is filled with pornography. Magazines are filled with pictures, salacious pictures of women. Anywhere you turn around, there's some solicitation to the senses, to entice a man."

So, salacious women are also at fault. But definitely not your husband because oh my gosh, it's just soooooo tempting out there.

"What you have to do is say, 'my husband was captured, and I want to get him free.'"

That is the point where I'm just, "what the ACTUAL fark are you talking about, Pat?" Her husband was captured? And it's the wife's job to free him? Why is all the personal responsibility here on the woman?

After I came out of my rage blackout, I realized Robertson was still talking-something about being grateful to be married and living in America.

Why does Pat Robertson think so poorly of men? Why doesn't he think they're capable of resisting temptation? He doesn't even suggest that the woman's husband could be doing things to work on their marriage. He also, oddly, makes no mention of the many passages of the Bible that offer genuine advice on forgiveness. (Matthew 6:9-15 might have been a good place to start.)

I know and respect too many honest, upstanding men to buy into Robertson's "boys will be boys" argument.

The smell at first seems nice, but I honestly hate it now. It lingers in my hair for way too long and is just gross. It doesn't provide any slip or moisture at all. Once rinsed out it's like you didn't really do much to your hair. Everyone has a different experience with products but I didn't like it. I noticed that they don't use mineral oil, yay :) But they use soybean oil and hydrogenated vegetable oil :( Those oils are as UN-moisturizing as mineral oil. So boo.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Beyonce is canceling her Tuesday concert in Belgium because of dehydration and exhaustion.

In an email to The Associated Press, the singer's publicist says Beyonce has been advised by her doctors to rest. She was scheduled to perform at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp. The show will be rescheduled and tickets can be used at that show.

Her next tour date is Wednesday at the same arena. The statement says "she is awaiting word from her doctors before making a decision."
Beyonce, 31, launched her "Mrs. Carter World Tour" last month in Belgrade, Serbia. It wraps Aug. 5 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
