Reasons to Go Natural

Reasons to Go Natural

Have you ever thought about going natural, but you just are not quite sure about it?  Have you seen women with beautiful hair in its natural state, yet you have never seen your own texture?  Do you just want to do something different for a change?  Has your hair been falling out all over the place, but you continue to put that “perm” in anyways??? Well ladies (and some gents), I’ll share with you some key reasons why you should really consider taking the plunge into natural hair!  You never know, you may just love the end result.

I decided to go natural for no political or particular reason…I just wanted to learn to know and love my God given texture and tresses.  The journey was not a walk in the park, but I am so elated that I decided to do so.

You are damaging your hair with the chemicals that you are using.

Your hair used to be full, thick, and plush when you were younger, but as soon as you started getting those relaxers, texturizers, and colors into your hair – you noticed a dramatic difference.  You were caught into the trap that you didn’t know how to get out of.

You do not remember what your natural hair texture looks like.

If you do not remember what your natural texture is, then chances are (like I), you were not given a choice in the matter of whether or not you should get a relaxer.  If your mom threw a relaxer in your head when you were younger, and you are just following suit because of that reason alone; and the fact that you don’t know anything else – I say go natural!  At least give your natural texture a fair shot in this.

You really want to go natural, but you are afraid

Well you said it yourself; you really want to go natural for some reason(s) or another, but you are just afraid to do so.  What are you waiting on?  We are here to help.  Go ahead and step out on faith; you won’t regret it.

There are too many resources out here nowadays for you not to go natural.

This is no longer a time where we cannot go to the net and look up the info that we need in all types of areas: our hair care journeys are no exception.  There are way too many videos, blogs, vlogs, books, pictures, etc. for us to use the excuse that we do not know how to get started.  I just jumped right into it and so can you.

This post is just something to get you all thinking about the choices that you may want to make as far as your hair goes.  If you are relaxed and happy with it – so be it! I’m happy for you; but if you have been thinking of going natural, and you know deep down that it is probably the best thing for you, I have a post coming up really soon about the positives of natural hair…stay tuned. Happy Healthy Hair Growing!!!

I choose to go natural after the passing of my father, For the first time in my life is saw his beautiful Native american Indian/West Indies Heritidge in his hair, He always kept it short . The curls and the waves made me understand my childrens hair and my hair. and I fell in love with it ! hard! that was when I was only going to use good for you products on my hair. I found alot of hair products out there that claimed to be natural, organic or made for ethnic hair were the worst ones and the some products were good but I could not keep up with the cost.especially treating my whole family with the product. So, with my little back ground in the hair industry, I moved forward. I found a combination of herbs and oils and aloe vera and coconut and it worked. So now I am at five year chemical free and my hair and my family’s ahir looks great! For more info on my hair products go to http://www.SkinSolutionsByThea.com
