Ponytail Rollerset Tutorial – Dena’s version

Ponytail Rollerset Tutorial

As a part of the interview series with Dena, she told us about her current favorite style, the ponytail rollerset.  I asked her to do a mini tutorial for it.  Here goes the quick tutorial for relaxed hair!

Would you mind providing a short tutorial for your favorite style?
Ponytail Rollerset Tutorial:
I wash and deep condition my hair with ORS Replinishing Pak.
I apply my Soft Sheen Optimum Care leave in and ORS Incredibly Rich Moisturizing Lotion.
I part the hair into 4-6 sections and put a small rubber band around each. (ponytails)
I apply some Smooth N Shine polishing silk lotion to each ponytail for setting.
Depending on what size curls I desire, I may use green (medium) or yellow(small) plastic rollers. I roll each section with two or three rollers.
I sit under the dryer for about 30-40 minutes.
When dry, I carefully cut the rubber bands off and comb through with a wide tooth comb.

I’ve tried the roller set pony tail method a couple of times. I almost got it right but I seem to fall short when it comes to getting the rubber band mark out. I think I don’t wait long enough for the hair to dry before removing the rubber band. I’ll try this technique again. Thanks for the tips!
