“Picture Me In”…Michelle Obama’s Bob

It is always fascinating to observe which styles Michelle Obama will grace the public with next. She never fails to amaze admiring fans and critics alike with her posh clothing, makeup, and fabulous choice in hairstyles. I’ve taken a recent notice to her straight bobs, especially with the swoop bangs.  In my humble opinion, the first lady is at her finest with her straight bob. It accentuates her features, and frames her facial structure perfectly. I adore this style for Mrs. Obama as it screams youthfulness, yet is still elegantly refined!

To recreate her look:

Hair:

You can achieve this look with jumbo rollers. Roll the hair all over in a downward position. Decide which side your swoop bang will be. Roll the front section to that side going sideways. Allow the hair to dry. Wrap around the head and place a wrap band around the hair. Comb the hair down and style!

Makeup:

Eyes:

(Smokey eye in lilac) Apply primer to the entire eye, and use a lilac or pink base for the upper lid.  Use a black liquid liner to line the lower lid, and apply several coats of black mascara. Apply false lashes if you’re daring!

Lips:

Line the lips with a nude liner. Apply a light coat of pink or peach lipstick. Apply a clear gloss on top.

Face and Cheeks:

Apply a base coat such as a primer or foundation to entire face. Dust cheeks with a peach bronzer or blush.
