Parnevu T-Tree Leave-In Conditioner Review

Parnevu T-Tree Leave-In Conditioner Review

new picIn my attempt to replenish my staple leave- in, which happened to be discontinued, it was by accident that I acquired the Parnevu T-Tree Leave in. My husband brought it home after he couldn’t find the product that I sent him out to get, so, naturally, he picked up the first thing the clerk suggested. I would have never purchased it for myself.

Since this product is formulated to target the scalp, this may explain why I didn’t see the results that I was seeking, as scalp conditions weren’t my issue. But it does have a nice tingle when it comes in contact with the scalp. I wasn’t too pleased after realizing that this leave in was a thickish creamy lotion like formula. I am not a fan of thick leave-ins in lotion consistency. I have always enjoyed leave in sprays, so this definitely took some getting used to. After applying the creamy lather to my damp hair, I found that it does aid in detangling, and locks in moisture for the most part. I was rather disappointed, however, in the loud smell of this product. But if you’ve ever come in contact with T-Tree oil, you know that its distinguished scent is characteristic. After finally getting used to the loud smell, I made the decision to continue to use it until it’s gone, if not only for the purpose of not wasting my four dollars and change. So, it’s not so horrible that I would feel the need to discontinue use promptly, it’s just not the best leave in I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting on my tresses. I guess mainly my disappointment lies in the fact that lotion like leave-ins are not as light as I’d like. They tend to weigh the hair down. The smell, of course only adds to my indifference to this product. My daughter’s hair, which happens to be almost completely natural, likes this product much more than mine does. It does moisturize her hair fairly well. So, if you are one who tends to lean more towards lotion leave-ins, and you don’t mind the smell of T-Tree, then you may be rather pleased with this product. I just won’t be purchasing another bottle.
