Now that I am relaxed again, it’s critical for me to have something that’s not only gentle but that actually cleans my hair without buildup. I started using “That’s So Natural” Products a little after Christmas 2013. These products are free of parabens, mineral oils, and contain natural ingredients. Normally, I am not so “paraben” or “sulfate” aware or weary, but I am trying to become more aware of what I put in my body as well as topically. My goal this year is healthy hair, and although I have chemically treated hair, there are no excuses for it not to be strong and thriving!!
I was so pleasantly surprised at the sweet and light aroma of my first encounter of the Clarifying Shampoo (with Argon Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, and Macadamia Nut Oil) It was love at first smell! Another nice little bonus was the lightweight texture it has!! My hair felt so soft after the first use. With my hair being already of a very soft texture, this usually concerns me because it tends to get kinda mushy after applying softening products, but this wasn’t the case at all. The resulted texture was more of my own natural hair’s softness, only smoother and sleeker! I don’t tend to get much into the “hair typing” system but let’s just say that I’m on the fine haired side, so the products that I use cannot weigh down or strip my strands, and the shampoo did no such thing. Relief!!
The Rinse-Out Anti breakage Conditioner with Abyssinian Oil, Murumuru Butter, and Moringa Butter added to my nice experience as well. Talk about detangling!! My hair melted like butter and detangled with the slightest glide of the comb. I am anxious to add this to my regimen, as my first couple of times used, I had some very impressive manageability and smoothness.
These are the natural ingredients in the products:
Argon Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Coconut Oil, Milk Protein, Tea Tree Oil, Coconut Oil, Milk Protein, Rose Hip Oil, Jojoba Oil, Honeysuckle, Peppermint Oil, Abyssinian Oil, Murumuru Butter, and Moringa Butter
I absolutely love Argon Oil in any product that I use!! I was also geeked that most of the ingredients in “That’s So Natural” are products that I’ve tried as stand alones when I was natural, and I was actually very anxious to try these out in products on my relaxed hair. The good news is that That’s so Natural apparently works for all hair types as opposed to being exclusively for naturals, so don’t let the name fool you as I almost did. There is a disclaimer on the company website that states that it’s perfectly safe to use these products on relaxed and transitioning hair, and that it’s been tested by professionals. http://thatssonatural.com/
So, yea, I’m adding That’s So Natural products to my regimen. I’m eager to continue using these products. Stay tuned for my next review on The Spray Leave-In Conditioner with Argon Oil, Macadamia Oil, and Honeysuckle and the Sulfate Free Moisture Shampoo with Macadamia Nut Oil, Argon Oil, Sweet Almond Oil.
