Natural Hair Braid-Out Style

Braid Out on Natural Hair

The braid-out style on natural hair can be one of the easiest styles to achieve!  Braid-outs are also convenient to do because they work against the issue of shrinkage.  When I go about the process of implementing the braid out style, I wash and condition my hair.  Next, I apply my leave-in and styling aid.  Finally, I put the plaits in my hair and allow them to fully air dry.  Once the hair is fully dry, I take down my plaits and style.  Putting plaits or braids in the hair and then taking them down once fully dry is the way to achieve a successful braid-out hairstyle.

Another way to create a nice braid-out style can come from a previous hair braiding style that you may have had.  For example, if your hair is cornrowed for a couple of days and you grow bored with the same look, you may take the cornrows out.  After doing so, a beautiful braid-out may be produced.

Below are pictures of my recent braid-out pin-up style.  Though my shrinkage still rears its head, I am making progress with style options.
