Experience “The Perfect Hairday” even if you don’t have Perfect Hair!
One of the best kept beauty secrets is no longer a secret, but a blessing to many women that never knew it existed. It’s been around for years, has been whispered to the wealthy, designed for the theatrical, and made popular by the celebrities. It’s called a Full Lace Wig.
I first heard about the Lace Front wigs and the Full Lace Wigs on a TV show about 3 years ago. The very brief mention of it peaked my interest as I thought I was up on the latest and best hair trends. I have a full head of hair, but have always had challenges keeping a hairstyle longer than two days due to the texture of my hair. I have worn sew in weaves, tree braids, micro braids, strand by strand, and many more.
As a business woman juggling a career, kids, husband, and a household it would have been easy for me to use my busy schedule as an excuse for an average or bad hair day at least twice a week, right? Well, most of you sisters are just like me and even through the struggle of a woman’s day to day life, a bad hair day is NOT an option. So we are going to do what it takes to look good, because that makes us feel good.
A perfect hair day no longer means sitting in the salon for 4 hours, or a hit or miss sew in (ya’ll know what I mean) . The Lace Wig is easy to wear, easy to maintain, affordable, looks very natural, and will minimize (not eliminate) the time you spend at the Salon. If your stylist is as loyal to you as you are loyal to her/him, they will learn the art of a seamless Lace Wig application and not be threatened by the simplicity of the style. I have been wearing the Lace wigs for 2 years (I researched for almost a year before I bought my 1st LFW) , and I do a very good application, but I still depend on my stylist to properly maintain my Lace wigs to ensure that I get the maximum life from my lace wig investment. The life of my Lace Wig is well worth the investment when I add up the cost of all the bundles of weave hair and the cost of having it put on over a 6 month period. It’s actually more affordable and I look better.
As I continued to research Lace Wigs, I became very passionate about them and decided to start a LFW business. For the first 4 to 6 months of my new lace wig business, I found that my customers were just like me, looking for a solution for Perfect hair, Celebrity hair styles, and just a different look. Then one day, the real purpose of my lace wig business changed. An existing client brought her sister in for a consultation and explained that her sister loved her wig and wanted to see if it would work for her. I pulled out a wig cap and said let’s see what you like and what looks good on you. The sister was 75% bald and when she tried on the wig, she started crying. I said “oh, we can try another color or style” she said “you don’t understand, I haven’t seen a hairline on me in many many years, and I look beautiful”. I was speechless, I just didn’t realize at the time what a blessing the Lace Wig was. At that time, I realized that I had done tons of research on Lace Wigs, but not enough. Over the next 60 days, I had at least 5 more clients with hair loss due to some type of medical situation. I had no idea that *Alo
pecia Areata, Alopecia Totalis, and Alopecia Universalis was so wide spread amongst African American women. Now, a year later, approximately 50% of my clients are wearing Lace Wigs as a solution to their hair loss and it also allows them to have a Perfect Hair Day, Every Day. In my opinion, that’s the real blessing for the Full Lace Wigs.
*Alopecia Areata (hairless in patches on head and body)
*Alopecia Totalis (total hairless on the scalp)
*Alopecia Universalis (total loss of all hair on the body)
