Essentious Review
Essentious was surprisingly a good shampoo. A major plus is that it is a SLS-Free Shampoo – (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate Free). Although it’s a new comer to the “gentle moisturizing shampoo” products, it can hold its own. I have tried a lot of moisturizing shampoos such as ABBA-’True Curls, ALFA PARF-’Splendore-Hydrate, ALTERNA – ‘Hemp Seed, BROCATO and DEVA -’Curl Low Poo’ just to name a few. I would just say I love the way Essentious makes my hair feel. My tresses are silky and moisturized without the icky greasy feeling. I can say there are differences in the overall feel of my hair! I do like this product’s price and the coconut oil is a great addition to the formulation. My hair feels great, and smells so good without the heavy perfumed chemicals.
Finally, a product was designed with the African American woman hair in mind. I would give this new kid on the block(Essentious) a 9 out of ten for black women’s hair, or those who need a good sls-free moisturizing shampoo. It would have been nice to have found this product earlier in my black hair care journey, but I am glad it is here on the market now.
