Did a lot of research beforehand. I would not us anything else now. They were both $3.99 that may sound like a lot because you can get a whole pack of soaps for that much. BUT I knew of the high quality Dr. Bronner's produces and like you said a little goes a long way. Both the liquid and the bar soap lather very well. I love both the almond and peppermint scents, although the peppermint opened my nose, it is a treat when you take a shower in it. The peppermint soap is really energizing in the morning. The almond is sweet smelling. Last week I went to whole foods and bought the almond and peppermint bar soaps.
