Cold Water Rinsing the Hair
Kizzie from Elkhart, IN poses the question:
Does rinsing with cold water help the hair?
Excellent question Kizzie! A stylist (who concentrated on healthy hair) that I used to go to years ago always did cool/cold water rinses on my hair after a conditioner. Rinsing with cold water after a your final conditioner application has been shown to seal the cuticle; keeping moisture in after your hair is washed. Also, this helps to keep bacteria and debris out of the hair. Try rinsing with cold water upon the final rinse instead of hot water the next time you wash and condition your hair. Track the results, you may be amazed at what you find in conclusion. Many who have done the cold water rinse (as the final rinse) find it very effective. If you decide to try it, be sure to let us know how it works for you!
Keep the inquiries coming folks…you all are greatly appreciated!!! Happy Healthy Hair Growing!!!
