BaByliss Pro Thermal Ionic Hard Hat dryer Review
After the tiresome attempts to prop up my hooded dryer with telephone books, then still finding myself sitting on two and three pillows, I was fed up with the hooded dryers and all of the inconvenience associated with them. After my hooded dryer finally died, I was faced with the dilemma of either investing in a soft bonnet dryer or spending the extra bucks on a hooded dryer on a stand, which would certainly be a solution!
Fortunately my dear husband surprised me with a Babyliss Pro Thermal one Saturday morning after constantly hearing my gripes about having to go to the salon every weekend. My review of the Babyliss Pro is as follows:
Pros:
- It has three settings. ( I prefer the medium setting)
- It has the ION setting, which fights frizz and locks in moisture.
- The stand is durable and can be easily adjusted.
- It dries the hair evenly.
- Dries my hair in about an hour.
- Considerably more quiet than my previous dryer.
- Rolling wheels make it easy to transport.
- The cover attaches nicely to the top of the bonnet and sets the dryer to off when pulled up.
Cons:
- The attachment to hold the chord in place doesn’t work.
- The highest setting is far too hot.
- Although, more quiet than the dinosaur that I had, it is still not as quiet as I’d hoped.
Well, as you can see, the pros outweigh the cons. I would definitely say that this baby was worth the hundred bucks and change that my husband invested in it.
