Aussie Moist Conditioner Review

Aussie Moist ConditionerUpon creating a regimen for my natural tresses, I began to wonder: what moisturizing conditioner should I use?  With the economy in its current state of disaster, and me being a student on a tight budget, I needed a conditioner to do what it says it will do with little room for error.  After glancing over the ingredients and smiling at its sale price (yes – 2 for $5), I sure am glad I tossed Aussie Moist Conditioner into my shopping cart.

How I Used It:
I took the Aussie Moist conditioner and mixed in 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and 1 teaspoon of honey (read more about the benefits in my wake up that conditioner blog entry), and applied it to my wet hair for a DC (deep condition).  I then covered my hair with a plastic cap and let it sit for about 45 min as I went on with my daily routine.  Finally, I rinsed my hair in the shower and let it air dry.

The Good Stuff:
Moisture Retention, Softness, Manageability, Detangled Easily, Silky Feel, A Bit of Shine (may be attributed to the honey), Curl Definition, and Delicious Scent.

The Bad Stuff:
Before trying it I saw that the product contained cones which can lead to build up, (but that’s nothing a little bit of clarifying shampoo and/or Dr. Bronner’s tea tree couldn’t fix)

Overall:
Aussie Moist is definitely worth a try.  My results were let’s say nothing short of  – astounding! For $2.50, it gave me a plethora of benefits.  I would recommend it for co-washing, deep conditioning, and even a leave-in.  Next time your hair needs a moisture kick don’t hesitate to snatch Aussie moist off of your local market’s shelf…your hair will love you for it!
